Condition:Preowned. This typewriter is in fair condition. There are cosmetic defects paint is missing off the front base of typewriter. There is rust on many of the silver colored metal pieces. Keys are yellowed. The “1/2” & “1/4” and the “@“ & cent Keys do not work. Other keys work in lower case and upper case. “Tab Set” and “Tab Clear” seem to work as Royal designed. Among these other issues the ribbon is dry, a new one is needed. The black rail at the very top rear of the type writer, where the tabs are set, has a dent and is missing one of four screws. I can’t say there are not any other imperfections with this typewriter. Please study pictures. … Please notice in pictures on the right end of the carriage there is a black metal piece that almost always stops carriage from moving left at a certain point. The carriage will move left, but something with that piece needs to be repaired for carriage to move full range consistantly.
